We know that you like to go to WANTED to hear all the neatest dancing tunes mixed up with old favorites and new things you have never heard in your life before (maybe).

But this is something really good to share! One of my top five bands of this past year Light Asylum are playing at Public Works (google it) this Wednesday night. They are awesome and you will really like their music. If you already love them, then great, you are very cool and here is a gold star. If you have not, then check it out!

Its delicate, and sort of gothy, and analogy. They probably have a Myspace page but DO NOT check it out because Myspace is over and it will probably crash your computer anyways. Instead please head over to their actual website.

I’ve seen Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro go at in commercials, trailers, interviews and all over the web. Really? There is still a demand for the Fockers?

Anyway, it made me think of one of my favorite bands, Late of the Pier, and one of their old songs entitled “Focker.” The band and the song are amazing and if you have yet to hear them or buy their first album… DO IT! (It’s called Fantasy Black Channel and every song will keep you wondering if they were all written and performed by the same band)

I digress, so while digging up some of my favorite Late of the Pier jams, I found a cover of one of their songs by Marina & the Diamonds. I usually am not one for covers but damn, Marina laid it down! -key&kite
