I am not going to lie, I am a pretty weird guy with a very warped sensibility. But this video really pushed me into an uncomfortable zone. Horrible, yet once the action gets underway you have to watch. Sitting at dinner last night, I was explaining how the video was unexplainable and that it just had to be seen. My mind went down a tunnel. I’ve seen Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro go at in commercials, trailers, interviews and all over the web. Really? There is still a demand for the Fockers?

Anyway, it made me think of one of my favorite bands, Late of the Pier, and one of their old songs entitled “Focker.” The band and the song are amazing and if you have yet to hear them or buy their first album… DO IT! (It’s called Fantasy Black Channel and every song will keep you wondering if they were all written and performed by the same band)

I digress, so while digging up some of my favorite Late of the Pier jams, I found a cover of one of their songs by Marina & the Diamonds. I usually am not one for covers but damn, Marina laid it down! -key&kite
